Configuration Verifier (CV) Information for Practice Owners/Managers

Our sole purpose in this initiative is to ensure your ABELDent provider fee allocation reports are reflective of your business requirements and remain so as changes occur to your provider file.

Whether you choose to install the CV or decide not to, please provide the information requested below. It will either ensure future CV notifications/alerts reach the appropriate person at your practice or authorize us to remove your practice from our CV contact list.

Instructions:

Download the ABELDent Configuration Verifier and run it on any one workstation in your practice that you use to run ABELDent. It does not need to be installed on the ABELDent server. However, for the CV to function, it should be installed on a computer that is not shut off during working hours.

  1. Right-click the ABELDentConfigurationVerifier.EXE and select Run as Administrator.
    If you see windows alert, please click "More info" and then click “Run anyway” to start the ABELDent Configuration Verifier.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions when the ABELDent Configuration Verifier starts.
  3. If you are prompted for credentials please enter your Windows credentials (Administrator credentials preferred).
  4. Once the CV is installed, you do not have to take any extra steps to activate it. It automatically runs for a very brief period (1-2 seconds) during working hours on the computer on which it is installed.
